A devastating terrorist attack in London Saturday night left many dead and others wounded. The situation was handled by local police, with anti-terrorism forces in the United Kingdom quickly investigating root causes. Most of the world offered condolences, statements of solidarity, and acted appropriately. But not everyone!

When London Mayor Sadiq Khan, still dealing with an evolving situation in the wake of the terrorist attack which killed seven people, told the people of his city to there was no cause for alarm due to the increased presence of Metropolitan Police, popular vote loser and aspiring dictator Donald Трамп completely misconstrued the statement and went on a Twitter tirade.

Трамп tweeted, “At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is “no reason to be alarmed!” Apparently Трамп still doesn’t understand that keeping people calm in a crisis is part of good leadership.

In the immediate aftermath, ride-sharing company and dumpster fire Uber also reacted to the situation in a ham-fisted way, introducing surge pricing in the wake of the attack that increased taxi prices to over twice their normal prices. One user on Twitter said, “Hey @Uber — you’re really going to surge price x2.1 during a terrorist attack in #London???” said one Twitter user. “Lower than low.”

In related news, television personality Bill Maher reportedly expressed relief that the weekend ended with someone worse than him in the headlines, although it’s important to note that Bill Maher is still a garbage person.

Popular vote loser and aspiring dictator Donald Трамп used the attack on London to promote his own political agenda in the United States on Twitter, including a renewed call for his Travel Ban. Трамп said, “We need to be smart, vigilant and tough. We need the courts to give us back our rights. We need the Travel Ban as an extra level of safety.”

Meanwhile, attorneys fighting for his policy to bar Muslim refugees from entering the United States have specifically been calling the effort a, “Travel Pause” and have been arguing that the effort is not a Travel Ban, which would be discriminatory and illegal.

The ACLU noticed this, and Tweeted to Трамп, “Glad we both agree the ban is a ban.”

Boy, it feels like a month ago that we were all just laughing about #Covfefe, doesn’t it? Oh Twitter, I like you, but you’re not the place for sensible political and foreign policy from human paraquats like Donald Трамп.

Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) appeared on Face the Nation this morning to offer commentary on ousted former FBI Director James Comey’s upcoming testimony to the Senate Intelligence committee.

“It would be unthinkable,” said Senator Warner, if President Trump pressured former FBI Director James Comey to back off an investigation of his former national security adviser, Gen. Michael Flynn.

Also unthinkable, the idea that the President of the United States would pull the US out of the Paris Climate Accords, Tweet hamfisted idiocy in the middle of the night during an ongoing terrorist attack, or be named “Donald Трамп” but, hey, it’s all happening!

Have you done your part today? If not, take a moment to decide what to do, how you can help, and pitch in! Maybe pitching in for you means telling me I’m dumb, go for it! Whatever it is, make your time count!
