Bill Gates told CNN recently that superwealthy people need to contribute more to the United States and that, “I need to pay higher taxes.”
In related news, I called Bill Gates and said, “Hey man, can I have some money?” He responded by saying, “Paul? Is this a joke call?” before hanging up. Bill Gates did not give me any money, so, WAY TO BE A HYPOCRITE BILL!
Democrat Kristen Rosen Gonzalez is running for the congressional seat in Florida and says that there should be a high-tax on bullets to help curb gun violence.
I have no punchline here, other than to point out that Chris Rock literally suggested this years ago, and he got like ZERO credit here. ZERO. It’s called PRIORITIES MSNBC. You gotta give credit where credit is due. Pfft.
Anyway, Gonzalez wants to make the world safer for people.
Olympians at the Winter Games in South Korea have noticed that security is really low-key there. Yeah, in South Korea, gun control laws are really restrictive and violent crime is extremely low.
After being informed about this, Vice-President Mike Pence said, “It’s a mystery how South Korea is avoiding mass shootings like we have in the United States.”
When someone said, “It’s probably because they have really restrictive gun control laws and a more peaceful culture,” Pence replied, “Yes, I agree … no one knows how they’re doing it, it’s a mystery … a mystery … a mystery ….”
Have you done your part today? If not, take a moment to decide what to do, how you can help, and pitch in! Maybe pitching in for you means telling me I’m dumb, go for it! Whatever it is, make your time count!
