Peter W. Smith, a Republican donor who said he had tried to obtain Hillary Clinton’s missing emails from Russian hackers killed himself in a Minnesota hotel room days after talking to The Wall Street Journal about his efforts, public records show.
According to Minnesota state death record filed in Olmsted County that says Smith committed suicide in a hotel near the Mayo Clinic at 1:17 p.m. on Sunday, May 14. He was found with a bag over his head with a source of helium attached. The police apparently recovered a note that said, “NO FOUL PLAY WHATSOEVER” was involved in his death. Minnesota authorities said that Smith wrote he was taking his own life because of a “RECENT BAD TURN IN HEALTH SINCE JANUARY, 2017” and timing related “TO LIFE INSURANCE OF $5 MILLION EXPIRING.”
When asked to confirm that Smith had committed suicide, Minnesota authorities reportedly said, “да,” and hung-up the phone.

When Popular vote loser, Russian supported Presidential candidate and aspiring dictator Donald Трамп appeared before a conservative audience in Maryland earlier this year, he put significant stock in his friend “Jim’s” opinion of Paris.
“I have a friend, he’s a very, very substantial guy. He loves the City of Lights. He loves Paris. For years, every year, during the summer, he would go to Paris, it was automatic, with his wife and his family … I hadn’t seen him in a while. And I said, ‘Jim, let me ask you a question: How’s Paris doing … Paris? I don’t go there anymore. Paris is no longer Paris,” Трамп said. But no one was sure if Jim is a real person.
On Thursday, though, Trump largely disavowed the advice of his friend after a reporter asked him directly about Jim.
“(Paris is) going to be just fine because you have a great president. You have somebody that’s going to run this country right,” Трамп said while standing next to French President Emmanuel Macron.
It’s unclear at this time if Трамп and his imaginary friend Jim are in a fight, or are just spending less time together.
